And so it begings

In light of my sisters wedding (now past) my husband and I decided to postpone trying to plan are wedding till the craziness of hers had passed. Now with hers come and gone we have begun the process of wedding planning.

First up is the wedding party:

Best man: Grover Madison
Best man: Dominic Snowdon
Grooms men: Joshua Cameron
Grooms men: Rick Gray

Maid of Honor: Sarah Montoya
Maid of Honor: Marry
Bridesmaid: Kelly Gray
Bridesmaid: Morgan Stein
Jr. Bridesmaid: Mackenzie Llewellyn

Now that the wedding party is assembled its Church hunting time!! I have come across several absolutely beautiful churches in the Baltimore area, only problem is since most of them are old catholic churches they have old fashion rules about if you are not catholic you cannot use them for a wedding!! How silly is that!? So we are slowly whittling out old churches and moving to more modern churches…ugh.

Only GOOD news, I found my wedding dress!!! 2 hours and 5 dresses later we had a winner!!!

It was that moment they always told you about, how you have that WOW factor. I walked out of that dressing room, stepped up onto that little pedestal and just went....wow..... this is it!

 Adjusting a little..

The gal that was helping me find my dress had originally told me that this dress wouldn't look good with that sash but i insisted we try, it looked absolutely amazing...just stunning.

I am in love with this train...absolutely love the bead work and embroidery.

The veil is trimmed in red and has some red embroidery in it, so so beautiful.

The 3 layers on the bottom of the dress were more girly then i had originally thought id want to go, but with all the bead work it looked stunning.

The big day!!!

So i recently got married to my friend Mike who I've known for 9 years. He and I used to go to karate together way back in the day, so we basically grew up together. After a very short time of dating and talking things over we decided the hell with it all and got married. We already knew we were a good fit for each other and with him moving to Texas in just under a month it was the best solution to all the problems. After making sure my school was arranged, my work and finances we threw together a small but nice wedding! Besides a couple very nasty last minute changes to the days events and decor it went off without a hitch!

Update: Way over due!

I promised months ago to post NEW pictures of my apartment so here they are. (NOTE: These are NOT the most recent seeing as i took these about two months ago).

This is my new sofa! Isn't it nice?! It's sooo comfortable... though Patches doesn't think so, she likes my bed better lol

Top of my closet, kinda a low ceiling but hey *shrugs* it works lol

Closet...

Corner of my room, new TV!

Other corner, refurbished glass table and antique mirror that i salvaged, new home for snow globes.

Like the posters?? I do!

Full view of the back half of my room

middle of my room, lots of books^_^ <3 them

Sofa and other new poster

Front half of my room, does that blue tape remind you of anything...hmmm (thinks back to first posts of apartment renovations) Yes folks those walls are STILL not painted. Soon as school is out for the semester and it warms up you had better believe we will have some serious painting going on lol

Bed!!! I have new pillows now (those are the old ones) and i have new bed sheets, they are aqua blue and the pillows are king size!

And finally my work space, old antique desk that i refurbished and fixed up. New brass, new paint, and a fresh sealant.
